Understanding the Bratislava Declaration

On Friday, 16 September, Bratislava hosted a meeting of the 27 EU leaders, who sought to show that the European project remains solid and resilient. The discussions focused on how to turn the page on Brexit, manage migration, strengthen the economy, and combat terrorism. However, no concrete solutions were agreed, a reality that the resulting Bratislava Declaration itself acknowledges and summarises.
