These damages may be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pecuniary damages: financial losses and medical expenses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Non\u2011pecuniary damages: pain, suffering, and other harm that cannot be measured purely in economic terms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who can file a civil liability claim?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The claim may be filed by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Injured Party (the person who suffered harm as a result of the crime, whether or not they have joined the proceedings as an Assistente).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Persons with purely civil liability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once Injured Parties are identified, they will be notified by the Judicial Authorities (Public Prosecutor, Judge) or by the Criminal Police bodies (PSP, PJ, GNR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When can the civil liability claim be filed?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The claim must be submitted with the indictment or in a separate motion.
