Its goals are to revitalize cities, support the physical renewal of areas used by disadvantaged communities, and promote energy efficiency in housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to POR and POSEUR, it is co\u2011funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How does IFRRU 2021 work?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br> <a href=\"https:\/\/ifrru.ihru.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IFRRU 2021 Non\u2011Refundable Fund<\/a>  offers loans and guarantees through three banking institutions: <strong>Santander Totta, Banco BPI, and Millennium BCP<\/strong>. Financing is aimed at comprehensive building rehabilitation, housing interventions, and energy\u2011efficiency improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to apply for IFRRU 2021 financing?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Applicants must present an investment project that includes both urban rehabilitation and energy\u2011efficiency measures. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosarioduarte.pt\/en\/services\/real-estate-and-urban-planning\/\">Our firm assists by structuring the project, gathering the necessary documentation, and coordinating with partner entities to maximise approval chances.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What types of support are available?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>During rehabilitation works, <a href=\"https:\/\/ifrru.ihru.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IFRRU 2021 Non\u2011Refundable Fund<\/a>  can support actions that increase energy performance, namely:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use of more efficient equipment, such as double\u2011glazed windows, external thermal insulation systems (ETICS), or efficient wood\u2011burning stoves.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energy production for self\u2011consumption, through a Self\u2011Consumption Production Unit (UPAC) that generates electricity from renewable sources (e.g., photovoltaic or solar panels).
