1. What is Converte+?
Converte+ is a measure that supports the conversion of certain employment contracts to promote greater job stability. It has a budget of €30 million, financed by the European Social Fund.
2. Which contracts are eligible?
Fixed‑term contracts (certain or uncertain) signed before the application date, provided that conversion to an open‑ended contract takes place on or after 21 September 2019. Part‑time contracts are also eligible, with support calculated on a pro‑rata basis.
3. Who can apply?
Any employer, including those undergoing restructuring proceedings such as PER or RERE.
4. Financial support and bonuses
The basic support amount is €3,050.32 (corresponding to four times the worker’s base monthly salary, capped at seven times the Social Support Index – IAS).
- 10% bonus – Where the worker is in a vulnerable situation (for example, a person with a disability, member of a single‑parent household, refugee, or victim of domestic violence), or where the workplace is located in an economically disadvantaged area.
- 30% bonus – For gender equality purposes, when the worker is of the gender representing less than 33.3% of workers in that occupation.
5. Payment schedule
- 50% paid within 30 working days after approval of the application and submission of the relevant contracts.
- 25% paid in the 13th month of the contract.
- 25% paid in the 25th month of the contract.
