The Julgado de Paz do Oeste is headquartered in the municipality of Bombarral and has a branch office in each of the municipalities it covers.

Decree‑Law no. 41/2017 created the Julgado de Paz do Oeste, based in Bombarral, with delegated offices in the following municipalities:
- Alcobaça
- Alenquer
- Arruda dos Vinhos
- Bombarral
- Cadaval
- Caldas da Rainha
- Lourinhã
- Nazaré
- Óbidos
- Peniche
- Sobral de Monte Agraço
- Torres Vedras
With the entry into force of this legislation, the former Peace Court for the group of municipalities of Alcobaça, Caldas da Rainha, Nazaré and Óbidos was abolished, and all pending cases were transferred to the newly created Peace Court. The Julgado de Paz do Oeste now serves these twelve municipalities, with more than 360,000 inhabitants, corresponding to around 3.4% of the Portuguese population according to the 2011 Census.
